Restoring photos yourself online
Are the first 4 photos really free?
Yes. Your first 4 restorations are free, with no account and no card. You can keep fine-tuning each one as many times as you like before you decide to buy anything.
What does one credit cover?
One credit covers one finished image — a restoration, a colourisation, a black-and-white conversion, an extend or a create. Refining a result you already made is free. Animations cost 6 credits per clip.
Do credits expire?
Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase — a one-off payment with no subscription and no automatic rebills. Use them any time within that year.
What happens to the photos I upload?
They're stored privately against your account so you can come back to them, and they're never shown publicly or sold. Ask us any time and we'll delete them.
What if I don't like the result?
Tell the studio what to change in plain English and it will redo it — refinements don't cost extra credits. If something is genuinely wrong, email rich@fixpix.au and we'll sort it out.

Yes — that's what makes FixPix different. We bring all the gear to your kitchen table. Your originals never leave the house.

Brisbane through to Caloundra, including the inner city, northern suburbs, Moreton Bay and the southern Sunshine Coast. See our service area page for the suburb list — and if you're nearby but not listed, just ask.
How much does a visit cost?
It depends on how many photos you have and what condition they're in. We'll talk it through with you first and give a clear quote before we start any work.
What kind of photos can you restore?
Old family prints, faded colour photos, photos with creases, tears, water damage, mould, or stains. If it can be scanned, we can usually help.
How long does a visit take?
Most jobs are done in a single afternoon. You'll see each restored photo on a big screen as we go, so you can request tweaks on the spot.
Do I keep everything?
Absolutely. You get fresh prints plus a USB with every digital file at full resolution. No subscriptions, no ongoing fees.
Is my photo private?
Yes. Anything scanned in your home stays with you — your originals never leave the house.
