Why is there a minimum booking?
In-home service takes planning, preparation and travel. The minimum booking ensures we have enough time to set up properly, handle your photographs with care, and give you the personal, unhurried service that makes FixPix different.
How many photos should I prepare?
There's no set number. Some customers have a small handful of treasures, others have decades' worth. Gather whatever matters to you and we'll talk through it together on the day.
Can you scan an entire box of photographs?
Absolutely — bulk scanning is one of the things we do best. At 99¢ per photograph it's easy to preserve a whole collection in a single visit.
Do you restore colour and black-and-white photos?
Yes. We restore colour photographs (fading, colour shifts, damage) and black-and-white photographs (scratches, tears, stains, contrast), and we can gently add colour to black-and-white images if you'd like.
Can I order extra prints?
Of course. Additional archival-quality prints can be added to any package — perfect for gifting to other family members.
Do you set up the digital photo frames?
Yes. We preload every restored image, configure the slideshow, test it thoroughly and hand you a frame that's ready to plug in and enjoy — no USB sticks or software to figure out.
